ARTIST STATEMENT

About myself

The source of my art is date back to my childhood at the age of 4-6 years old when I had been to private art school.
Most of people start their life first, and then start their art gradually.
But, in my case, by contraries,

In short, I had discovered the mutual relations between the world and myself, not by language and action, but by form and color.
Since then, I have been doing art to discover it's methodology about my life.

Intentions

My art's aim is to give physiology to the phenomenon world of today, by correlating a human's emotion with this social environment and by summarizing this correlation iconologically.

According to the theory of Freud

When we recognize this, if Freedom's aim has a liberation from it's suppression, the reality can be a dream when dreams comes true.
That is to say the dream is a reality is a dream is a reality is a dream is ………(continuing forever). It is like a circularity the world is.

And so the dream is a reality.
And therefore the reality is a dream.

The phenomenon world is like a circulator floating on time.

From the point of this view, I paint humans who exist in relativity, between their consciousness as a reflection of their outward and their outward as a reflection of their consciousness.

The style I was influenced very much to give a form to my intentions , one is a picture of ancient Greek pod and the other one is a 17-19th century Japanese Ukiyo-e (Picture of Floating world)

Each picture is like a game of card, in play "Life", on the stage called earth.
